Cullen Circuits was founded in 1990 to build high-end audio products as a subcontractor for several companies, including PS Audio.
Owned by veteran builder and Audiophile Rick Cullen, the facility encompasses 7000 square feet and is located in beautiful Paso Robles California.
Rick Cullen served as head of production for TRW’s San Luis Obispo facility until 1975 when he joined PS Audio as production head until 1990, when Cullen Circuits was formed. Skilled in electronic engineering and high-end audio design and manufacturing, Cullen has built products of the highest quality for 35 years.
Cullen Circuits expanded into the high-end modification business in 2003, performing custom 
upgrades for clients because there was no one offering this level of professional service and quality construction. Rick and his engineering staff has spent more than their fair share of time reversing “hack jobs” performed by other modification services to bring equipment back to factory specs; then adds a professionally implemented modification commensurate with the level of investment each client has made in the equipment.
Our belief is that only a pro should work on your audio video investment. Practices of using glue, tape and unprofessionally installed parts and wiring is a disservice to both the client and his equipment.
Customers discouraged by the poor reliability and build quality of many modification services are turning to Cullen in ever increasing numbers as word spreads about a true professional performing the highest quality modifications and repairs of high-end audio equipment.
In 2007, Cullen Circuits began offering a line of custom upgraded products from PS Audio as well as others, while still offering a full one-on-one customizing product service.
